Our much loved 2026 Advent Box is back, and we can't wait to share it with you!
Inside you'll discover 24 individually wrapped gifts, one to open on each day of Advent, making the countdown to Christmas even more magical.
This year's box includes 8 exclusive mini Christmas cross stitch projects, all designed in-house by Historical Sampler Company. The Advent Box contains all of the pre-sorted DMC thread, patterns and fabric to complete the projects. This year you are able to purchase the Advent Box with either 16 count aida or 32 count linen.
We've also included all the finishing materials you'll need to transform each project into a beautiful festive decoration, with plenty of special Christmas touches throughout.
The remaining 16 individually wrapped gifts are a delightful mix of stitching and craft-related treats. Without giving too much away, you can expect items such as scissors, exclusive needle minders, and other stitching accessories, alongside beautiful Christmas decorations and carefully chosen festive surprises. We've created a wonderful balance of gifts and stitching that we hope will delight every cross stitch enthusiast.

As tradition dictates, our Advent Box is accompanied by a brand new Christmas themed Stitch-a-Long! You can purchase the Advent Box on its own or choose to join us on this festive SAL as well.
It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas SAL is a bright, colourful festive design that perfectly captures the magic of the season. We absolutely love it, and we're sure you will too.
This is a four-part Stitch-a-Long (SAL) where stitchers from around the world come together to complete one section of the design every fortnight over eight weeks.
Your one-off purchase includes all four pattern releases. If you join after the SAL has started, you'll automatically receive any previously released parts, allowing you to stitch at your own pace. It's a wonderful project to enjoy year after year as part of your Christmas decorations.
The Stitch-a-Long is stitched on our specially dyed vintage-look 16 count Zweigart Aida or 32 count Zweigart Linen - your choice.
Release & Dispatch Dates
- First part of the SAL: 12th October 2026
- Advent Boxes and Full Kits dispatched: 14th September 2026
- Material Requirements: Email sent on 14th September 2026
