Do you ship Advent Boxes internationally?

Yes, the Historical Sampler Company ships worldwide. Free delivery is available on all UK orders over £60. International delivery charges are calculated at checkout.

Is the Stitch-a-Long suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! The Christmas SAL is suitable for beginners and can be a great way to advance your stitching skills. The project is broken into four bite-sized parts released fortnightly over eight weeks, making it a wonderfully manageable way to stitch along at your own pace. If you join partway through, don't worry - you'll receive all the previous parts automatically.

When will the Advent Box be released?

The always popular Historical Sampler Company Advent Box will be available to pre-oder in July 2026. Previous boxes have sold out in just 48 hours so we'd recommend singing up to join our waitlist (above) so you'll be the first to know when it's available, or pop a date in your diary now!

How much will it cost?

Do I need to buy the Advent Box and the Stitch-a-Long together?

Not at all! The Advent Box and the Christmas Stitch-a-Long are available to purchase separately, so you can choose whichever suits you best, or treat yourself to both for the full festive experience!

What's inside the Advent Box?

The Advent Box contains 24 individually wrapped packages - one to open each day of Advent. You can expect the 2026 box to include exclusive mini cross stitch projects complete with chart, pre-sorted threads, and fabric, plus a wonderful mix of stitching accessories such as scissors and needle minders, beautiful Christmas decorations, other craft-related and tasty treats. Full details for the 2026 box will be confirmed closer to the pre-order date.

Yes! You can pay in three instalments through your PayPal account at checkout, making it easy to spread the cost of your purchase.
