A floss drop, or floss holder, is a small pendant-shaped tool with a hole through the middle that your thread wraps around, allowing you to sort your threads and organise them so that it stays tidy and untangled.

They're a simple addition to your kit that makes a real difference, especially on projects using several thread colours at once, as each colour gets its own drop instead of getting knotted together.

Ours are made from wood or acrylic, including pieces handmade by UK maker Beaming Badger, in shapes from a moon and a fox to hearts, flowers and seasonal Halloween and Christmas designs.
