Our biggest event of the year is undoubtedly our Christmas cross stitch Advent Box and SAL, and we're delighted to reveal that the wait is almost over! Last year our Advent Box sold out in just 48 hours, and this year we expect the same thing to happen.

This year's box is our most magical yet. Inside you'll find 24 individually wrapped gifts, one to open on each day of Advent and the perfect run up to Christmas.

Inside our cross stitch advent box you'll find:

• 8 exclusive mini Christmas cross stitch projects, designed in-house by the Historical Sampler Company team, complete with pre-sorted DMC thread, patterns and fabric.
• All the finishing materials you need to turn each project into a beautiful festive decoration.
• A wonderful mix of stitching accessories, exclusive needle minders, scissors, Christmas decorations and some carefully chosen festive surprises!

You choose your preferred fabric, either 16 count Aida (perfect for beginners and intermediates) or 32 count Linen (ideal for expert stitchers).

It's Beginning To Look Like Christmas... Introducing The Christmas Stitch-a-Long

Alongside the Advent Box, we'll be running a brand new Christmas Stitch-a-Long and it's a bright, colourful festive design that we are absolutely in love with and know that you'll love it too!

This is a four-part SAL and we'll be releasing a new section every fortnight over eight weeks, so you can stitch along with our wonderful worldwide community. Missed the start? No problem, any previously released parts will be delivered straight to you automatically so you can stitch at your own pace, regardless of when you join or get started.

The very first part of our Christmas SAL will be released on 12th October 2026.

Whether you're all-in on the full experience or just want to join the festive stitching fun from £15, there's a place for you.
